Sammanfattning
This paper evaluates how a post-it application in augmented reality functions in association with the agile working method Scrum, Scrum is an agile working method which continuously evaluates the work process and the development. In this type of working method post-it’s are used extensively. For this reason, an application was created as a substitute to lower the environmental impact and to eliminate the obstructions which post-it’s brings. Augmented reality is a technology that manipulates the environment with the help of digitally generated objects that integrates into the real world. The post-it application takes advantage of these possibilities to create a whole new experience. This is achieved by adding depth to the post-it model and using the users’ environment to create holograms on walls and objects. The development of the post-it software was carried out at Stena AB’s IT-department and resulted in a demo application that can be compared to other digital Scrum tools and the physical post-it note. Testing this demo application resulted in the conclusion that this type of application has potential but is still very restricted in terms of usage.
