Sammanfattning
The projects in today’s software development are becoming increasingly more complex. With more complex problems entails more complex solutions. Therefore, software of high quality is sought for. To meet the demands and improve their software quality many businesses integrate Continuous Integration into their software development. Icomera is a company specializing in providing open Internet connectivity and application platforms for passenger transport and public safety. The company integrates Continuous Integration in their software development. This enables them to work efficiently and deliver high quality software products and within its timeframe. The company applies Continuous Integration with the tool Jenkins. The tool provides the ability to automate builds and tests. But the company lacks the tool to visualize and provide a clear view over the status of projects, results from tests and log files that are generated from Jenkins server. The purpose of the project was to provide a solution that can visualize and provide a clear view of the builds, status and log file output from the Jenkins server. This work will describe how the solution was developed. From an attempt to expand a current system to developing a filter application and a web application that can provide a clear visualization. Eventually give a simplistic view over builds, status and the output of log files.
