|Abstract: ||This project was carried out at the Stena Industry Innovation Laboratory at Chalmers
University of Technology in Gothenburg. The client Volvo Penta wants to run an automated
quality inspection in the last stage of production before sending the products to the clients.
The purpose of this report is to analyze the possibilities of using a vision system to run a
quality inspection in the final department in the production.
