Sammanfattning
The aim of this work has been to investigate how the energy and the power requirements are affected by different types of building structure for an office building. The work focuses two central questions: How are the energy and the power requirements affected when the climate shell is insulated with a lower thermal transmittance than the maximum allowable value according to the Swedish building code (BBR). Which impact has the magnitude of the internal heat generation on the optimal value of the overall thermal transmittance. In order to execute the calculations the program BV2 has been used. Several parameters were evaluated. The building is a fictitious free-standing office building, with five floors, with a total floor area of 3000 m2. Focus on the work has been to decrease the energy and the power requirements by means of different building technical arrangements. For example, examining how the energy and the power requirements are influenced if the climate shell is insulated more than requested by the Swedish building code. The internal heat generation is also changed in order to examine which impact it has on the optimal insulation standard. The results show that a decrease in energy and power requirements for both heating and cooling can be obtained. The simulations show that it is difficult to achieve a building with low energy demand just by solitary measures.
