dc.description.abstract | Because of the ongoing climate change and governance initiatives such as the UN's Agenda 2030, the manufacturing industry transitions towards more sustainable manners, both on a local and global scale. On behalf of Hilti Svenska AB, a supplier of products, systems and services for the professional construction industry, the thesis performs a benchmarking study on different actors regarding their goals and reporting of environmental aspects including emission, circularity, and material handling. Findings from the benchmarking, together with observations in Hilti Svenska AB’s stores and interviews with employees form a basis for a concept improving Hilti Svenska AB’s sustainability work in stores. A concept for improved recycling, decreasing mindless activity, was proposed as well as future recommendations regarding Hilti Group and Hilti Svenska AB’s sustainability work | |
