| dc.description.abstract | In this thesis, simulations of a water test rig for gas turbine burners have been performed. The burner in the study has been a third generation dry low emissions burner from Siemens. The simulations have been performed with both the commercial software, CFX and the open source software OpenFOAM. The aim of the thesis has been to evaluate the performance of OpenFOAM. The results from the simulations show that there are some differences between OpenFOAM and CFX. | |
