Abstract

In hospitals, medicine cups are regarded as consumables. Due to the fact that nurses handle medication cups on a daily basis in hospitals, homecare facilities, and nursing homes, it is crucial to comprehend their opinions on how the cups should be used and how well they work. This study provides a thorough overview of the processes involved in the usage of medicine cups in hospitals, from their distribution through their eventual disposal. Additionally, it provides a summary of the preferences that the business may use to examine the product’s attributes and design from the perspective of its target market. Sustainability has evolved into a crucial factor to take into account in practically all of the items we encounter every day. Currently to oblige with the sustainability factors, company is manufacturing medicine cups with sustainable raw materials. The thesis focus on how these medicine cups can be reused as part of implementing circularity. The option of circularity for medicine cups is identified and varieties of variables are studied. The authors of this thesis have reviewed different frameworks and concepts from circular business models and selected a business model that can achieve circularity for the company.
