Abstract: Summary This work is carried out for SKF Sweden AB with the aim of implementing of MOST, which means a complete digitization of the production channel DR02 and reduce the setup time in the channel. The current problem with the setup times is that they vary greatly depending on the competence that the operator possesses. Setup time is the time it takes to adjust various parameters and change various components in a machine. In this case, a setup occurs when switching from one size to another on the rollers included in a roller bearing. Thus, the existing setup manuals will be improved and then digitized in SKFs own software MOST, which will then be an aid to reduce the setup times. With the implementation of the MOST software, the documentation that currently takes place on paper in the form of measurement journals and informative manuals must also be digitized into the MOST application. The project has been divided into two major parts. ● Part 1 is about setup time reduction, which includes setup schedules, setup tools and setup manuals. ● Part 2 is about implementing the MOST, which involves digitizing everything that exists today and is carried out on paper in the form of measurement journals, informative manuals and follow-ups. The delimitations that the project has to relate to is that the work is only performed in the production channel DR02. The machines and their components will not be replaced or adjusted, so the work will be based on what already exists today. Digitization will be limited from an automatic live feed from the machines.
