Examensarbete på grundnivå
Lidström Dreyer, Carl
Grocery shopping nowadays may occasionally appear inconvenient, the lack of alternatives to the traditional costumer and cashier interaction remains inadequate. This report aims to investigate the demand for a mobile grocery scanner, by developing a concept application using the integrated development environment Android Studio. The finished application allows the user to create a customized profile, scan groceries and complete the transaction; all in the power of their hands. By allowing actual users to test the application, the user experience was greatly improved; yet the demand remains unproven. However, the test users expressed interest and satisfaction regarding the concept and developed application.
