SAMMANDRAG För närvarande finns få studier kring kopplingen mellan TV och planlösningen i vardagsrummet. Vi undersöker därför tre områden på Norra Älvstranden i Sannegården, Göteborg. Rapporten syftar till att öka förståelsen för TVns integra¬tion i planlösningen utifrån moderna medievanor. Vi presenterar en eventuell framtidsbild av media i hemmet med avseende på sociala faktorer, tillgäng¬lighet och kraven för en bra mediemiljö. Rapporten inleds med bakgrund, syfte, frågeställningar och avgränsningar. Därefter behandlas underlag som är väsentliga för undersökningen och sedan beskrivs metoderna utförligt. Resultatet sammanfattas och analyseras för att sedan knyta samman allt i en diskussion och därefter en slutsats. Undersökningen har gjorts med hjälp av tre olika metoder: Intervjuer i hemmen, enkätutdelning i brevlådor och gransk-ning av planlösningar från Göteborgs Stadsbyggnadskontor. För att kunna besvara frågeställningar har vi utformat fyra specifika bedömningskriterier. Vi tar hänsyn till kommunikationsvägar, av¬stånd till TVn från sittplatser, reflektion och bländning, samt vardagsrummets öppenhet och omslutenhet. Resultatet för varje metod redovisas separat och i tabeller. Tabellerna visar resultatet för varje fråga i ett diagram, men uppdelat i de tre områdena. Dessa metodresultat både liknar och skiljer sig från varandra i de olika områdena, vilka har olika byggnadsår. Resultat från de tre metoderna jämförs och bedöms utifrån insamlad teori från vetenskapliga källor. Det finns en mängd ny teknikutveckling men undersökningen visar ändå att de flesta fortfarande använder TVn i var-dags¬rummet. Det eftersträvas ett vardags¬rum med vacker utsikt, stort utrymme och många möblerings-möjligheter att välja på. En bra mediemiljö ska dessutom skydda mot reflektion och bländning, innefatta möjlighet till att placera TVn och soffan med ett godtagbart avstånd ifrån varandra och dessutom ska det finnas ett neutralt utrymme utan passage¬störning framför TVn. Konstaterat efter analys av resultatet är att TVns integration i planlösningen och vardags¬rummet bör studeras närmare vid ut¬formning Vi hoppas kunna uppmärksamma individer inom branschen, vilka utformar nyproducerade lägenheter. Detta för att bostäder i framtiden ska kunna utformas med mer hänsyn till TVn. Vi hoppas även att rapporten inspirerar till vidare¬forskning och att allmänheten tar del av ämnet för att kunna nyttja det i sin bostad. ABSTRACT Currently there are few studies about the connection between TV and the floor plan in the living room. We are therefore investigating three areas on the Norra Älvstranden in Sannegården, Gothen¬burg. The report aims to increase understanding of the TV's integration into the floorplan based on modern media habits. We present a possible future image of media at home concerning social factors, accessibility and the requirements for a good media environ¬ment. The report begins with background, purpose, questions and delimitations. Subsequently, substrates that are essential for the investigation are treated and then the methods are described in detail. The result is summarized and analyzed to then merge everything into a discussion and then a conclusion. The survey has been done using three different methods: Interviews at home, questionnaire dispatch in mailboxes and review of plan solutions from Göte¬borgs Stadsbyggnadskontor. In order to answer questions, we have designed four specific assessment criteria. We consider communication paths, distance to the TV from seats, reflection and glare, as well as the openness and enclosure of the living room. The results for each method are reported separately and in tables. The tables show the results for each question in a chart, but divided into the three areas. These method results are both similar and different from each other in the different areas, which have different years of construction. Results from the three methods are compared and assessed based on collected theory from scientific sources. There is a lot of new technology develop¬ment, but the survey shows that most people still use the TV in the living room. It aims for a living room with beautiful views, large space and many furnishing options to choose from. A good media environment should also protect against reflection and glare, including the ability to place the TV and the sofa at an acceptable distance apart and in addition, there should be a neutral space without a passenger disturbance in front of the TV. Concerning analysis of the result, the TV's integration into the floor plan and living room should be studied more closely in formation. We hope to pay attention to individuals in the industry who design newly created apartments. This in order for future homes to be designed with more regard to the TV. We also hope that the report will inspire further research and the public will take part in the topic in order to be able to use it in its home.
