This report presents several ways of modelling electric system functions in a Typical Heavy Hybrid Vehicle (THHV). The focus is on the dynamics of the system and its components. Presented in this report are dynamic models of inverters, DCDC converters, transmission cables, simple control systems, induction machines, etc. There are several systems that represent different scenarios presented as well including; a complete system run, all loads demand power at the same time, control system fault, breaking of inductive currents, short circuits, cross talk, etc. Useful comments about what is possible to simulate or not is available throughout the report. The simulation tool used in this report is Synopsis SABER. The results show that it is fully possible to simulate the electric system in a THHV with an acceptable precision. Predictions of the behaviour of the system are possible make from the results.
