Abstract This thesis has developed a tool which enable the Studio Engineers at Geely Design to find how any door window will elevate. Changing the glass shape automatically adjusts its drop path. An experiment was conducted to obtain which parameters affects this. Obtaining the drop path is necessary to feasibility check the side glass, evaluate packaging and to create the glass channels from it. However, finding the window elevation is labour intensive and time consuming. To simplify this process, an optimisation tool has been developed which can semi-automatically generate window elevation.
