Abstract

This thesis deals with a web-based reservation system that facilitates management by advance of construction machinery. The report describes the implementation of the functions of a website and how a database was involved. It describes design decisions and how usability has been in focus when the system was created. During the development, expandability has been kept in mind. The results of the thesis became a well-functioning reservation system that follows the company's requirement of functionality and additional functions that were considered to be useful for the reservation system.
