Title: graphVR A VR web application for interactive 3D-graphs

Abstract: The study presented in this paper is a Bachelor’s thesis at Chalmers University of Technology. The purpose of the study was to find out how to transform statistical tabular data into interactive VR graphs. It was achieved by creating the application graphVR using the framework A-Frame. The project was carried out as a technical development project, which used user tests and continuous evaluation to guide the design of the application. The project was based on an iterative development process, and produced two prototypes, used during the user tests, and one final product. The thesis discusses the complete method of developing graphVR, including the system architecture, the environmental models used, and the graph components which were created specifically for the application.
