Technical and environmental evaluation of common insulation building materials

Abstract

In the thesis different evaluation methods were studied to find an appropriate way of evaluating building insulation materials from both an environmental perspective and a technical perspective. The focus was on the environmental part where an inventory study was made of the materials and a study of the energy consumption of the materials was made. In the end a grading tool was constructed to weight technical and environmental criteria for the materials.
