dc.description.abstractIn the thesis different evaluation methods were studied to find an appropriate way of evaluating building insulation materials from both an environmental perspective and a technical perspective. The focus was on the environmental part where an inventory study was made of the materials and a study of the energy consumption of the materials was made. In the end a grading tool was constructed to weight technical and environmental criteria for the materials.
